Swine Flu (H1N1) Vaccine

I work in the healthcare industry, not as a nurse or doctor, but I hear so much about the swine flu epidemic and the vaccinations. I've NEVER had the flu and I never get the flu shot. My daughter is 3 and since she's in daycare/school, she gets the flu shot. Now I'm really concerned about this swine flu vaccine since the vaccine is so new I'm worried about it. How do you feel about this vaccine on young children? I do plan to discuss this with her pediatrician, but she normally doesn't go for her shots/yearly check up until December since that's her birthday month.

ok my daughter will be six months next month and her pediatrician said for me to get her both shots. i'm nervous about getting the h1n1 because it is brand new, and also has been so rushed. noone knows for certain the effects of it. remember when the reg. flu shot first hit market, there were alot of problems with it. i'm on the fence about it. for yours, which is school aged i'm really not sure ya know. on the one hand- she is in school, on the other:it's new and rushed. i think they should really give parents alot more info on the vaccines and young children.
