My son is turning 4 I thought to do something diferent at the preschool I would try something different. Instead of a traditional birthday cake, set out unfrosted cupcakes, bowls filled with different types of frosting, and garnishes like chocolate chips, shaved coconut, cake sprinkles, gummy worms, M&Ms, chopped nuts, candied fruit, and the like. Then let the kids line up buffet-style to create their own masterpieces!
