Grandu........on your 6 month old twins.......and loving it, because double the love! I personnally would not buy two of everything, because as they grow older together they need to learn to share also when it's time to start playing and counteract with other younsters. But yes certain things you do need to buy two of everything...such as car seat etc... For myself my twins 1 boy Matthieu and 1 girl Natalie will turning 17 years old this coming March 3rd.........enjoy your twins grate gift from God. We have double the giggles and cute toothless grins -- Twice as mcuh love with your twins & "Double the Love" in re-turn..

Take Care & Keep it touch! Good Luck and have the time of your life!

I have 14 months old twin boys. They were pretty good up till now. Alexander is a little bigger than Jacob and he lets him know. He is always pushing or pulling him down to the floor and making him crack his head. does anyone have any ideas how to stop this.Or he takes the toys off of him when he has the same toy. But than other times they play so good together and have a lot of fun. I won't trade than for the world.

My girls are going to be 7months and omg when they were first born they hated being next to each other, Mikayla the older by a min would scream if i put audryna next to her. now that they are older they will play with each other but when they dont want to be next to each other they give me and there daddy a hint, Audryna starts pulling mikaylas (who has a head full of hair) hair n mikayla will let her get away with it but when audryna isnt lookin she will get her back by pinchin or scratchin her then audryna starts screamin and cryin

I have twin daughters who are 2 years and they can come up with all kinds of things to do. Chloe (the oldest) is our trouble maker! We have a pub like table with the taller chairs and I have to put them away in the bathroom everyday otherwise she will get on top of the counters using the chairs and grab whatever she wants, she thinks it's a free for all! The one day she was on top of the counter and Claire (the youngest) was on the floor dumping out my seasonings all over the floor. They grab fruit snacks for themselves all the time. As for separate cribs, that's what we did and Chloe would climb out and hand everything she could find to Claire cause she was still in her bed! My husband went to work and made more brackets so we could lower her bed lower than the lowest level. We had it down as far as we could. Then about a month ago, Claire started getting out of her bed so we had to turn their beds into the toddler beds! Needless to say, we put them each in a bed and when we go to check on them before we go to bed they had switched beds! And as for the taking off diapers and their clothes, we have figured out that we can't put clothes on the girls before putting a onesis on them, otherwise their diapers are off in a minute. We also have to put a t-shirt on them after putting on their footie pj's otherwise they will be off in a second!! Those are some of my stories!! They are so much fun but they are a lot of work! I am so lucky to have the opportunity to stay at home with them, I couldn't imagine having to leave them and go back to work, after staying at home with them for so long. I went back to work for a little bit, and then I had enough after 5 months and decided it was best for me to just stay at home, with the cost of daycare and gas for my car it just wasn't worth it! They are my life and I don't know what I would do without them!

If you have older twins in one of those double umbrella strollers do not turn your back! I had my 3 year old twins in the double umbrella stroller and we were out shopping in a department store. I turned my back for (I swear) not even 30 seconds and they had both pushed with their feet while being buckled in the stroller and were a few inches away from crashing into a huge display!! I was so scared...it just shows you how twins work together and can seriously be double trouble!! lol Like one lady up at the top said..."what one doesn't think of, the other one will" That sums twin toddlers up!! Enjoy your twins...they are alot of fun but they keep you busy!

OK all of you are scaring me to death! Not really I have three other children, although I can tell that M&M are going to be different. Right now they are bucking out of there bouncer seats and starting to get on there knees and rock. It will not be long and I will have a story. Thanks ladies I am enjoying them!

lol oh my ... haha yea now Hunter will sit on all fours and just rock and rock and rock his crib until it moves ha ... he can move that thing across the room and back its crazy .... haha .... its hard to imagine mine even being in school right now lmao ... seriously any one with multiples could write a book on all the crazy shit that happens lmao ...

Amy have your twins started "cruising" yet haha ... haha i rem when mine started to crawl at light speed ha i finally thought i had a handle on keeping them in one place haha and then they got fast //shakes fist ... lol... and then they started walking and well thats a whole different playground haha ...

Its so funny to watch them grow up and and interact with each other -- i miss having them at 4 months lmao ... they couldn't talk back and they couldn't move (with exception to a roll here and there ) haha ...

When mine were big enough (not even walking) they started climbing out of their cribs to join the other one, so...good luck with the separate cribs thing! Mine are now 12 years old, and they still rarely sleep in different beds.

lol never put them to put without pjs on haha ... i remember that in the summer I use to put them to bed with just their sheet and a blanket at the bottom in case they got cold but multiple times they figured out how to undo their diapers or they started picking at their diapers... uggh gross and hard to clean ... haha my son will take his clothes off now and take his diaper off and then stand there and pee through the bars of his crib haha typical boi..... umm even if you dont think they will think about it --they will..... get down on the ground one day and crawl around with them and what ever you see--baby proof it... I had to go out and buy a different kind of wall plug because my daughter (only 1) figured out how to take those plastic covers off lol....

haha... put them in seperate cribs if you havent already ... i swear when they get older all they do is fight at night and wake the other one up if they aren't sleepy or take the other ones sippy cup haha ...

Just never leave them alone.  Mine figured out how to unlock the bolted doors and escape outside.  I learned to hang the keys higher than they could reach with a chair or stool or whatever they could stand on.  This Christmas my husband went upstairs to brush his teeth.  While he was out of the room, they began putting toys in the fire.  They created a huge bonfire in the den.  We are still cleaning up all the ash.  I am sure that I can write a book.  I will try and remember the craziness.

Never leave them alone with a phone in the room. Mine were 10 months old and had just started crusing around the coffee table. I left for a minute to go to the bathroom, and they randomly called 911. I got a call 5 minutes later asking me where the emergency was, and I swear, I was the only one in the house with them.

Lock your house down. Twins are devil's advocates to each other. What one doesn't think of, the other one will. Mine thought is was funny to take their diapers off and play in their poop, climb on all my tables and throw anything off of them, climb inside my oven and dryer, try to drive my car, and they are only three. Good luck. They are a lot of fun, but a lot of work.

As a mom of 12 year old twins, I rarely buy two of everything! But seriously, enjoy your babies! They grow up too fast! You will blink and they will be in school! It's the most awesome thing in the world to be a mother of twins! My girls are still so close, but they are such individuals! ENJOY!!!!
