Seeing her learn new things every day, and being delighted at the simple pleasures of life, like bubbles. I was soo proud of Skylar yesterday when she rode around the entire block by herself (I walked behind, she pedaled and steered by herself) for the first time! Watching the firsts and cherishing the lasts are what make me glad to be a mommy, especially her mommy.

My faviort thing would have to be to see that he can copy just about anything we show him and to see that he is so much diffrent fromt he day before...Its almost like there a whole diffrent person over night

the screeching will last a while...your not even close to out of the woods yet! haha! just wait til she's 14 and screeching "I hate you Mom! You never let me do anything fun!!! ugh!".....*slamming door* lol

For me I think it's the little things. I never wanted children, but then Genevieve came along! I love her goofy faces, or the little kisses. It's the little things that make her her. I see everyone's baby walk, and that's awesome, and Geni's first steps were great too, but when she does something that's unique, or something that isn't considerd a major milestone -like doing her "pretty eyes" it just makes my heart melt. It's awesome. Then she screeches and brings me back to realizing that I probably need to change her dirty diaper. I'll be glad when screeching is done with. But she's pretty darn amazing, and I'm lucky to be her mom.
