I have had her for years sharing her with her mom, it is somewhat hard on me to make punishment because I don't want to make waves but I have open the door with my daughter about what I believe is right an wrong we seem to be on the same page thank the Lord so far raising her child has been great. I have a close mother an daughter bond with my child an her child an now there is another little girl soon to be 1 do I open my heart like I do for my first? I love them all so much, I cant loose them I know that sounds awful but its crazy....

I have know I idea on your age or marrital status but we adopted our son at age 5, he was my husbands oldest grandson and I had never met him till we began adoption...her rights were being terminated and he found out from a third party that alex had been in foster care here in ND. My husband had thought his daughter had taken him to texas and that was where they had been. 6 months after we brought Alex home, she had another baby, we brought this one home from the hospital..then she got him back for 15 months then both my step daughter and the boys were with==l she in and out at times along with the youngest...she gave us full custody last year right after he was 4 and his brother was now 10...there are some special needs with both but I woudn't trade this experience for all the money in the world..and yes I would also open my heart to anymore that would come our way...these two do have a sister adopted by someone on my stepdaughters other side...she was already born and in placement in another state during that time we didn't know the oldest was in fostercare..this one is right where she was suppose to be, but had she not already been there....we would have taken her to... I had one of my husbands other daughters (1/2 sibling) ask how many of the oldests daughters kids we were going to take when we brought home the youngest one from the hospital...Said don't know..but we are taking this one tooo..(that stepdaughter hasn't talked with us since)..like you I can't imagine loosing them...and it does not matter that they are not my blood...not one ioda...by the way we have 9 other grandchildren as well. 5 grand children and 3 additional daughters (his, hers, and former foster) live in the same small town and are here frequently...kinda family community raised--it helps as well as we are in this small econamically booming area in the country so the older kids seem to keep moving out here
