I'm on my maternity leave to care for my twin 4 month old babies, and I'm finding it hard to think of fun things to do with them all day. We have some playtime, and will usually take a walk if the weather is nice - what else do you do to fill the time and keep them happy and stimulated?

hi there, I am guessing you're little ones are almost a year now! My son will be 1 in march and i have a daughter who will be 3 in march as well :)
As far as at home, there are tons of educational videos etc u can put on when u need downtime since they aren't as mobile at such a young age and even now at almost a year, they love colours and contrast and showing the videos to my daughter at that age had her knowing her colours before any other kids her age! There are tons of oens u can buy or download and even youtube has videos for kids and u can make a playlist for a half hour or huor and leave it playing :)
For physical activity, i bought a jungle gym and indoor slide. It seems over the top but it helped be get over tryin to take them outside all of the time between the weather/ packing bags etc. its great to have lots of interesting toys on hand and especially ones that grow with them so as they learn to use them more, they can enjoy them more (plus they use up a ton of that endless energy!) lol
I also started a GTA Playgroup because I too was bored of sitting at home with my kids or planning days out for just us. So now we meet regularily with other moms (most of whom met on this site) and we all let our kids play while we have a tea/coffee etc and most of the time, we join in on the fun :) we meet up at public play centers, outdoor parks & splash pads. Center Island and lots more! we also get to know eachother and have had smaller playdays with moms at their houses etc (some have seperate playrooms to accomodate the kids)
