Cloth Diapers: Do you have a second pail for the liners and wipes?

I am about to start my 6 month old on solids and heard that the poop will also change, requiring the use of cloth diaper "liners." I have a Dekor diaper pail that we use for the cloth diapers, but do I also need another pail now for the liners (and contents) and wipes?

It says on the package they are flushable, but we live in a building with old pipes and have already had problems in the past, so I don't want to flush them. We had been using cloth wipes also, but I may go back to disposable wipes if I'm also throwing liners away.

If you do have a second pail for liners, what kind of pail do you have? Does it keep the stink away? For how long?

Thanks!

I also just tossed it in the garbage, until I realized that it's almost just as easy to just wash the diaper out after they start pooping more solid, instead of worrying about extra garbage or what to do with it or if you have old pips. My pail is just a garbage can with a sealing lid and then I have a Planet Wise large wet bag in the pail. The can I bought at Target I think for like $5 and the wet bag I bought at Nickisdiapers.com for ... I think like $17. I don't use a smelly tablet since there's no place for one on a regular garbage can and you can't smell it unless you open it with your head right above it and it's full. I wash about 2 times a week now that she's 2.5.

Hope that helped. :)

I use paper liners in my diapers and I just toss the dirty liners in the trash ( I can't flush my because of backup problems also). If they are just wet, I toss them in the diaper pail and wash and reuse them (I bought the kind you can reuse a few times).

I really just have one pail for it all and it doesn't smell unless there are a lot of diapers in there and that is only when I open it. I bought the pail over a year a go and have not changed out the odor tablet. At one point I had 2 kids in cloth diapers and you couldn't even tell we had a diaper pail. ( I keep it in the bathroom) Do do wash diapers at least 2-3 times a week. I have washed the pail a few times when it gets dirty. I am very happy with it. I got it thought wwww.cottonbabies.com it was around $30.

Hope this helps
