Has anyone made your own facial products and found a combination of ingredients that you like? I want to use natural products for my facial regimen, but they are usually so expensive :(

Hello. An excellent book that gives recipes is called "The Take Charge Beauty Book. The Natural Guide to Beautiful Hair and Skin" by Aubrey Hampton & Susan Hussey
(Aubrey is whom started the line "Aubrey's Organics"

I was able to purchase it at a local health food store, but Im sure you can find it online or at any reputable book store.

There is a whole lot of natural beauty advice along with many recipes to make your own products. I must admit a lot of the recipes require purchasing Aubrey Organic products, but you can always substitute if need be.

I am in the same boat.  I am just beginning to get into making my own products.  Starting with lotion bars and body butter since they don't contain water and thus have a longer shelf life. 



I haven't tried these, but here are some links to what look like some great recipes (for affordable ingredients and products, I order from www.iHerb.com.  After your first few orders, you become a vip customer and earn higher discounts with no strings attached)
