Personally I hope that it doesn't leak out as to who's leaving or staying. I don't mind waiting till September. I would think that ABC is going to keep it underwraps as long as possible. I agree that George looks really good with his hair cut short.

I don't like waiting too. Last night I rushed home so I wouldn't miss it but then forgot its over! Sept. is a long time away! Oh my gosh George looks so much younger! Poor Izzy I'm gonna miss her. I liked her!

I live in Panama and the shows are not as current so I had to youtube it and let me just say I dreampt all night of George. Soooo crazy. It was soooooo sad. They really got you by the gut these writers

I cryed and creyed i was preparing myself for izzy dieing my friend said she herd that she was leaving but gourge no was i knew it was some one she knew so i was guessing her dad but as soon as she said 007 i scream so loud my son started crying he is 2 and my husband came running then the phone rand it was all abig dramatic mess all my love to the writers but why do we have to wait so long i think all show should run longer with less rerunes im a tv junky im lost whith out my 8-10 pm shows

I HATE the fact that we have to wait so long to find out. I hadn't heard anything about either one of them wanting to leave the show until after the last episode. I like both characters and want them both to stay on.

I think Shonda Rhimes outdid herself. The actors who play izzie and george are leaving the show because Kathrine Higel got in a fight with Rhimes about how she dissed her nomination. She said she no longer wanted to be on the show. T.R. Knight (george) wants to do biger and better things..or so i read

i cant believe that they were going to kill both izzie & george!! i'm still in shock about the whole thing!! i'll go crazy if i have to wait that long to find out! i did think that the story line was going quite well and then you get the shocking bit right at the end!!! bring it back sooner!!!!!

Okay according to everything I have read it was said Izzie was leaving the show because her and the writers couldn't agree on renewing her contract, and she was not happy because up until this whole cancer thing her role was small and she was complaining about money and they were not going to renew the contract, BUT I AM FLOORED ABOUT GEORGE. I had only heard small tid bits he was leaving never any thing solid, and to kill them both off was just wring being 33 weeks pregnant I balled as if it truly were my best friend dying, it was pathetic. I'm kind of angry at the show for the way they chose to knock em off, I agree let him go to war and her go to a treatment center far away, but don't kill people who we have grown to love for how long. Oh well, guess I'll wait till Sept.

For me, I'm remembering when Meredith died... so maybe Izzy gets one more chance to say goodbye to Denny while trying to figure out if she wants to live or die... and George may get to see his dad again and tell him the whole military thing, how he decided his specialty, what's been going on in his life and they both live.

These season finales just KILL me! It's like the writers have to make you want to watch in the fall....I was already going to, so please stop with the huge cliffhangers 'cause I can't take it! Maybe we should all sign contracts to continue watching, and then they won't have to drive us crazy all summer....LOL

Yeah the finale was the bomb! Jaw dropping that's for sure. I was bout in tears but they didn't fall when Alex stopped the strecher and told Izzy to rip up the DNR. Thats was something else. Then in the end when George and Izzy were about to die the really was OMG!!!! I can't wait till the next season either. I wish we didn't have 2 wait till Sept. but everyone needs a break ever now and again.

Honestly i think that George will come back. He has a lady to come back to that is really interested in him now and it would be nutz to kill him off. Izzy-i bet she comes back. They wouldn't get rid of someone like her-she has such a big role in this as Christina and Mer and Alex does so i doubt they will kill her off. At least i hope not. I so didn't see the ending coming on either. Stopped me in my tracks thats for sure.

Earlier in the series when George had a bigger role his nickname was "007" they just stopped saying it as much in more recent seasons, but thats why Meredith knew it was George. It took me a minute too, I didn't figure it out until she said "John Doe is George!" then I stopped breathing for a minute before the sobbing began. Two possible deaths at once was a bit much for me!

the 007 was from the first season when burke gave him the chance to help him ona surgery and george almost killed a guy taking out his apendex. then everyone started calling him 007 it means a linsce to kill but the 007 thing did not last for very long.

They should have left it with George going off to war. If needed dying over there but this is to much. I really really want Izzie to make it and think she will. All in all though, they left it way full of suspence. I can't believe it!

Now I read a couple months ago that neither George or Izzie was leaving the show. But I didn't see this coming with George! I really hope they aren't. It seemed like George didn't have a big part in this season though so maybe he is. But I really don't think Izzie is leaving. The article said the writers wanted to give her a better role b/c of the comment she made about not having an award winning role that season. But it said they were both rumored to leave the show and that it wasn't true. We will see!

Somewhere out there someone has to know if Izzy is really leaving the show!! I figured George was leaving, but had no idea that they were going to kill him off!! They could have just let him go off to war, that way there would be a chance to bring him back!! What a cliff hanger, now we all have to wait until the fall!!!
