Help, I am a mother of 21 year daughter who recently informed me she has an eating disorder, and is Bulimac. Her first step of asking for help.

Although she is 21, she is still my daughter and I want to help her. I am trying to learn about this disease.

She is Not wanting to get help for Herself, and does not want Me to help her either. She has depression also. Not willing to go to therapy, nor do we have the money. (I am unemployed for 9 months now)

I am looking for any help and support I can get.

Thank you in advance.

I have had a eating disorder all my life, and still do. Its hard to eat propper foods and sometime its a struggle to get through a hole dinner plate. Have you spoken to doctor or theraphist, When I was a teen I was seeing a eating disorder doctor, But now that my younger daughter is not eating at all and is going to be tube fed with a feeding clinic .Im getting all the help and advice possible. May I ask how bad is she? Is it effecting her weight gain and other issues. This could be a impossible roller coaster ride for you and your family,so hang in there and support each other and get as much help possible. take care
