Hey ladies,my 11 year old has anarexia, any1 else been through this any suggestions?????

How is your daughter doing? I hoping she is doing better. I am sorry to hear about your daughter. It makes me sad to hear of young women and young girls going through the things I have been through.I had anorexic and bulemic 12 years. If you have any questions ask me. It's scarey, but the best thing right now is that she is in the hospitail. That was the only thing that kepted me alive many years. I know that's not something you want to deal with and I don't want that for you daughter or anyone. If she needs to go to the hospitail you keep bringing her. You do what you have to do ever if it makes her mad to keep her alive. Is your daughter seeing a cousellor, therpist, an eating disorder specailist ? Sorry for my crappy spelling.This is one of the hardest thing you will ever go through, but there is hope. Send me a message if you need to know anything else.

can i just say how sorry i am that your child is as young as 11 going through this......i myself was an anorexic at age 14 i was bulemic on and of for 10 years and at the age of 24 i developed anorexia i was close to death im so glad i came across this as i so desperately want to help anyone who is going through this ordeal and help parents and families understand eating disorders please add me as a friend on face book as i have just set up a page all about eating disorders and please ask me anything you want........i really hope your girls will come out of this but please under no circumstances nag at them to eat, argue with them if anything tell them you understand that your there for them and never mention eatin or food .........

hi how is your daughter? im going through something simular with my almost 10 year old she doesnt eat alot and lost alot of weight we have just been referred to our local hospital so im waiting on a date, but in the mean time we are trying to encourage her to eat and when she does want to eat im letting her choose what and how much, and it seems to be working! at the moment she weighs 3.4 stone her ideal weight for her height should be over 5 stone, ive also showed her some pictures of anorexic people and it scared her which means she is more willing to try and eat, one thing i havent done is force her to eat as it makes her worse. i hope your daughter is on the mend xxx
