I thought it'd be neat to have a conversation about the current events that are happening/happened in the world !

I agree, it's not the best situation, but I'm sure they are trying to make it work, sad that others get in the way ! Makes them look more foolish in the end by acting in that way!

That is despicable that they are throwing things at the 15 year old! If you look at it one way she is a child and if you look at it another way she is a mother of a small child who just a little time ago gave birth...throwing things at a person in either situation is disgusting.

I wouldn't have let the stories run if it was my child to be honest, especially since the media turns it into a freak show, and can't rely on them to explain the truth. I think they will be tainted by this for a quite awhile. They will really deal with it at school by their peers. As a parent I can't imagine what would posses one to put their child on front page like that. Maybe to teach them a lesson? I dunno seems more destructful then helpful especially since people now are yelling and throwing things at the 15 year old, and everyone and their grandma as their own opinion on the situation !!

As for the journalist it's a job they probably get off on stories like these

This is going to sound a little bit odd, but as a journalist would you feel a little bit odd reporting on such a story...perhaps morally conflicted in a way?
Legally, they are both children...here for even a teacher to take a picture of your child in school they need parental consent, so obviously they had parental consent to do the story.
I can understand perhaps why the parents would have allowed the story to happen (perhaps it is better to just be open and honest and thus ensure the truth comes out instead of speculation, rumours, and lies), but was the story to now be world wide news in their best interest?

I know I saw that. It's such a huge scandal and it's just ruining the teenagers lives no one elses , it maybe stupid them having sex that early but it's not fair to them to be under the eyes of everyone now !!

I was such a dork at 13, sex was the LAST thing on my mind! I hope my kids are the same way...!

Did you hear 2 other 15 year old boys say they might be the dad? So this baby-faced 13 yr old is taking a DNA test...

LOL Adele thats funny !! I can't wait till Rylie says funny things too. I just can't imagine a 13 year old having sex sooo young!! 15 year old I can see, but still young. Really makes you think, hopefully society doesn't get worse by the time our children are this age !!

mmmmm YA  27 years ago I dont think any of my friends OR myself were even thinking about sex let alone having it with a 13 yr old   I hope I can be open with my two atleast so they can ask me for b/c or tell me they made a mistake.  Thank goodness they are still babes so I dont have to worry about THAT for a few years yet....right now Im only stressing about starting JK in Sept.!!!!

Adele, that is so cute :) LOL, it is definitely a story you can tell her when she is older.

I'm not too sure what I can say about the story...I mean some girls even if they did have sex at that age couldn't get pregnant as they haven't even started getting their period yet. I think about what I was doing at 13 and 15 and it sure wasn't that....I was definitely too wrapped up with family and school. Crumb, me + most of my friends hadn't even gone on a first date yet or had boyfriends (o.k., this may be pretty outdated). Hopefully they will be amazing parents though and that little girl that they had will just feel extremely loved by both parents.

Dont get me started on this one!  I cant imagine as a parent of a daughter watching her have a baby at 15...especially with a 13 old father.... They are babys themselves.  I hope the grandparents are involved.....
