Are there any good mom and baby groups in the hamilton area that anyone would recommend?

I'm looking for some mommy friends since none of girlfriends have kids are even close to be ready. Our daughter is 5months and i'll love to starting socializing her with other babes and maybe find her a bestie

There are tons of programs for 9 month olds!
I would check it out. If you look up the Ontario EArly Years Centre you can find the location closest to you.
Each location offers different programs, but once you register at one you can go to any one. I have been going to the one at St. David's and really like it and hear the Hillcrest location is awesome also.

They offer many programs. Infant massage, nursery rhymes, yoga, etc. the woman I spoke with told me the programs vary by location.
My son is 8 weeks old, how old is your daughter? I don't have many "new mom" friends so if you're looking to connect and meet people like I am then the Early Years Centre may be a good place.

I thought the early years centre was for breast feeding moms, I guess its more than that?

Hi, yesterday I went to check out the early years centre at Limerigde mall. The woman I spoke to there told me that the majority of the programs offered are for children one year and under. I thought it was the opposite!
It looked like the daily "drop in" ladies and kids there were older however. The early years centers are all over the city. This week I'll be going to checkout one in Stoney Creekthat is closer to my house and supposedly larger than the one at Limeridge (it was very small andi have now been told that many moms say that location is their least favourable)

Maybe you would be interested in an early years centre?

I can't find any
Id love a group to have playdates and all that, but i cant seem to find any! :(
