Just thought I would submit a post to say hi really. I'm a 1st time mum from Hampshire, married for 15 yrs and have a very active but completely adorable 13 month old son. Looking forward to getting to know other Mums around local area. I feel a little awkward when i've attended baby groups etc... have been to a couple but they havent really been my cup of tea and mums already seem to be in their own established clicks so it's difficult. Don't know if anyone else has similar feelings?

Hi there Paula, I haven't been on this site for a while so have just seen your post. My youngest son is 13 month old now. We have moved about quite a lot so don't know many people in the are either. I live in Oakley near basingstoke it's a nice little village and the school is good. I keep meaning to go to the mother and toddler goroup that's not too far but my son sleeps in the mornings so I thought it would be a waste of time. Now he's a bit older I might make the effort to go along it might be nice to meet some more mummys. Hope you had a nice easter. My older kids are still off school and are driving me a little nuts and my husband hurt his foot last week and is still suffereing so I'm his taxi driver on top of everything else. Anyway hope to speak to you soon take care!
