Recovering from surgery

I just had emergency surgery on Thursday night for an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured my right tube. I'm not sure how I should be reacting to this. I have 3 children (8 yrs, 4 yrs and 7 months) already and my husband and I decided after our youngest was born that we were done having kids. After this surgery I am no longer able to get pregnant and am having a lot of mixed feelings. Is there any one out there that can help me make sense of these mixed emotions?

hi i had an ectopic pregnancy last year in the july, i also had emergency surgery to have my right tube taken out, it is very hard to deal with but luckily i have 2 kids myself that helped me get through it, i have been pregnant 3 times since this and all ended in miscarriage but it does mean i can get pregnant again, did the hospital say u cant have kids anymore? was it just the tube that was removed or ovary aswell? when it happened to me it was hard believe it that it was happening to me, still think bout it now and cant believe it happened to me, does get a bit easyer,
