I would say 6 months and up. The cheerios get soft so quickly that they won't choke as long as they're not putting a fistful in their mouths.

My son started eating Cheerios at around 9 months. They don't need teeth to get them to break up and dissolve. Their gums are hard enough and cheerios are easy enough to mash.

Whenever your child is able to sit up on his/her own and pick up the cheerios. They dont need teeth to chew them, they can gum them just as easily. Remember that kids under the age of 1 cannot have honey, and that includes honey nut cheerios.

I started giving my daughter at about 5moths too and she loved them. and because they are smaller her ped said it actually help with her hand and eye coordination. She is almost 11mths now and she still loves them for a snack and she can always grab things the first time with no problem. She still doesnt have teeth so they dont need teeth to be able to chew them. There little gums can chew quite a few things.

it depends on them. As soon as they have teeth is best. But plain cheerios are good. Or if you rather, they sell these toddler type snacks that i gave my baby, they come in a can almost like pringles and are called "Graduates Puffs" they say its for toddlers, but my 7mos old love em and they come in all kinds of flavors, they have them for younger babies too, they are made with whole grains and dissolve almost as soon as they hit the tongue, so no worry about choking

We started giving our son Cheerios at 6 months. However we've since tried other dry cereal's and kix is his favorite!

Whenever they put them into their owns mouths. I did baby led weaning for all solids and started at 6mo. Worked great. But cherrios are one of the small worries, they dissolve pretty easy. Try it, you'll be surprised!

I started my son @ 6 months...making sure I was there @ all times, he never choked on them, you can even break them in half if that makes you feel safer! Plain cheerios are the best, anything sugar coated doesn't melt on their tongues fast enough!
