I do a little of both. During the summer months we have tons of farmers markets where I live so I usually do fresh during the warm months but during the winter I do mostly frozen. I don't buy too many fresh veggies at once because they began to love their nutrients as they sit. So I typically will buy enough for 2-3 days so it can be as fresh as possible. My girls didn't really like the frozen SteamFresh veggies in the bag that goes into the microwave because the veggies aren't tender enough for them. But the frozen veggies in the regular bag is perfectly find with them. Oh and if I can find organic...PERFECT!!

It is good to have a balance I think. I have frozen peas, rest fresh veggies. Try and cook them the day u buy them or asap !!! And try to grow some on Ur own...

As long as there are no additives i use frozen. Some foods are better frozen actually, as "fresh" food is sometime picked too early to ensure it gets to the grocers without rotting it doesnt have its optimum vitamin levels, also they diminish when they are picked. On the other hand the natural enzymes die when frozen. So either way...i use both.

A little bit of both. It depends what I'm making. If I'm cooking up a dish that calls for veggies, or a salad, I will use fresh ones... but if I'm just making a quick Shake n Bake dinner I will steam some frozen veggies. Sometimes I used canned corn, but thats about it for cans.

Most vegetables are better frozen than fresh as vitamins perish as soon as the vegetable is cut, so frozen ones keep more vitamins than fresh. As for meats they are better fresh. It really depends what you are buying. Try and keep a balance of both then you wont go wrong.

Hi,I used to have that concern as well until I read that it's more-or-less the same - in fact sometimes frozen is better!

I use both. Frozen is just as healthy as fresh because frozen food is flash frozen so they retain all their vitamins and minerals.
