If children start to eat less fruit and vegetables from time to time, this may worry parents, but usually its causes no harm. It is not possible to force children to eat more fruit and vegetables. the best way is to set a good example for them. If you eat and enjoy fruit and vegetables every day, your children may eventually follow your lead. It may take time, but this is how children learn best.

Modeling good eating habits is the way I noticed works for my children. If my children see me eating bad things like soda or large size meals they are going to do the same, but if they see me eat fruits, veggies, and drink lots of water I see them doing the same.

The trick is to make the food enjoyable for them. I agree some kids don't want to eat veg etc. Sometimes children may prefer their veg raw to cooked. Children may refuse new foods if mealtimes are stressful. so try and focus on the positives about the meal and avoid arguments.

Very true i find that if my children see there friends eating fruit and veg (tea partys) it also helps, but you do get the odd child whom still refuses, then you can look into hiding veg in meals.
