What have people done for their kids 1st Birthday. I want to do something to highlight all my son has overcome to get this far. I think we will do a slideshow of pics from birth to now but what about themes, cakes, etc?

I did a special video for my kids first birthday (my heart baby is a twin). I included a few of his surgery/hospital pics, but only ones that wouldn't scare children that may be watching. My son's "heart birthday" is 5 days after his birthday, so I made a special video for that (included his entire journey) and put it up on facebook...it celebrated him and also was a great way to spread CHD awareness.
