Where can I donate to hellp research

My son was born May 8th (3 & 1/2 weeks early but happy and healthy now) due to a quick onset of severe hellp. Before his happened to be, I was looking forward to a "pain and suffereing" gift of jewelery from my husband. I can't bring myself to spend the money on a piece of jeweler and would much rather donate to hellp research so that someday no one will ever have to go through what we did. Does anyone know of a way to donate specifically to research on hellp? Thanks!

Well, that is a bummer! It had been awhile since I went on there. I went to the merged site and couldn't find much. I will keep looking.

Thanks Alicia! Do you know if they still accept donations? When I went to the website it said they merged with the Preeclampsia Foundation.

There is a society called Hellp Syndrome Society. They have a website and onduct a lot of research on Hellp. They also have some pretty jewelry that you can purchase with the proceeds going to research. That is all that I can find after three years of looking. Good luck!
