our ped. put my son on alimentum, it worked wonders! He didnt like the Dr. Brown bottles either, we used Gerber bottles. Also when he would get really crabby we would wrap him in a blanket, hold him real close and rock him, he eventually would quit screaming and go to sleep. I dont know if it was just him but we can also just strip him down and put him in the tub and he quits automatically.

Make sure you mix the gas drops with the formula because my ped told me that giving them to my daughter straight made her gasier. And I agree about the Alimentum. But the Dr. Browns bottlesI hated. They did nothing. My daughter had colic REALLY bad and those bottles were nothing special. Just really expensive cause some doc's name is on them. And they leak really bad all the time. I'm always having a sticky bottle. So annoying and washing all those parts takes waaaay too much time.
