Hi everyone
The government is proposing to withdraw paying Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance and Carers Allowance to the individual and the money will be chanelled into Social Services Departments. There is an on-line petition in place and the web site for more information and the petition is www.politicalcripple.com.
The majority of the carers and the people they care for that we have or do work with would be seriously penalized if these benefits are removed and the same goes for mental health. Last year the Carers Support Service, working with carers and the "cared for", bought over half a million pounds of these benefits into Cornwall I hope you will sign the petition and pass it on to others.
