My birthday is Nov. 23. Usually when I was little if I wanted a party with friends it had to be celebrated a week or two early. But other than that I think my birthday is neat...especially the years it falls on Thanksgiving day. Then we have cake, ice cream, & the whole thankgiving feast!! :)

My boyfriend's mother and Her two daughters (12 and 9) have their birthdays all on the week of Thanksgiving. We have just made Thanksgiving kinda like a Christmas with all the presents. I think his mom usually has a birthday party the weekend before Thanksgiving since it is far enough away from Thanksgiving that her daughter's friends can participate. Since your daughter's birthday is Dec. 2nd, you could always celebrate by cooking her favorite meal for dinner and doing something with just the immediate family then celebrate it with her friends on the weekend after her birthday.

My Nigel's is Nov 22 so it's the week of Thanksgiving.Every 7 yrs it's Thanksgiving day. It's been hard to have a party with classmates.I would have it the weekend before his birthday. We often had bday cake for dessert celebrated after the meal.Family and freinds were already there. My late dh was the 27th so it was just combined. We always got him a seperate cake He chose the character on.My 07 baby Mya is 2 weeks before Nigel's Nov 7th .So now I'm back to 2 close birthdays in Nov.:)
Just always make it special despite the holiday rush.
