What ideas, other than candy and little dollar store type toys can I put in easter baskets?
I need more ideas that represent spring! We have done seeds and gardening tools, in the past. My boys are getting to old for stuffed rabbits. Any ideas would be very welcome.

I know it's too late for this year, but would you ever consider having a real bunny or raising chickens?  You could surprise them with a real animal.  Or you could visit a farm/petting zoo, and put the brochure in their easter basket.  (I don't know how old your kids are...)

My kiddos love doing crafts so I usually make a "craft basket" where I precut some crafts and we can do it that afternoon. You could always do tickets to the zoo or something else they wouldn't expect. You could do all new spring toys, a butterfly garden basket (I'm doing that this year and the kids LOVE them!) Here's a link from where I order mine: http://www.insectlore.com, movies are always a big hit, depending on how old the kids are you can do a love basket where you can write a ton of little notes and put them in a basket saying why you love your child, your favorite memories together or something like that. It's always a good activity when you have more than one because it's THEIR'S, kwim? Hope those help and good luck!!
