Yes, use what you want and do what works best. I don't follow it to a "T." I got a lot of recipes online as well.

That is the book I got when I decided to make my own baby food. It has great basics and how to's. I do not follow the book to a tee, and I get alot of ideas for blends and recipes off line.

I love this book. It really is my baby food bible. I have to admit I don't follow everything she suggests to a tee, like I do not make my own baby cereal because I like the ones with the added iron. But, it is really great. Very informative.
