My son is 2.5 yrs. old and I believe God is calling me to Homeschool. I wanted to connect with any moms in the area that will help me in this new journey.

Hello,
I am currently homeschooling my children ranging from the age of 11-4. I have been doing it for the lat 3 yr and adore it. I also live in the Tampa area. As to support groups I still have yet to find any in this area, (but if anyone does I would love it). There are a lot of free and paid curriculum you can follow online. It really is a choice between following a curriculum already planned out for you or making your own. You could do a little of both, (this is what I do). There are many online support groups though. Brainpop has a good group I joined and K12 as well. A really good curriculum for people wanting to incorporate religion and Bible study is www.amblesideonline.org. I use this one and you can google most of the reading material and print them.

Thanks much prayer needed in that area. I've meet a lot of people within my church that homeshool but they have older children. I pray God will connect me with the perfect community/support group for my family.

hi i feel the same way i have 3 year old twingirls but i'm still unsure what to do because i'm thinking i;m not patient enough...i live in miami and go to calvary chaperl...i have a lot of sisters in christ who homeschool so i will have s lot of support regarding co-op etc...I pray for you that you will find some moms to support and guide you through this...maybe there might be some in your church...God bless you!
