I personally just went to walmart and got a comprehensive curriculum book for each of my girls this year. I do use other material but for pre-k and K I am just happy to use the comprehensive curriculum books as a guide for what my girls need to know by the end of the year. I love doing the crafty things with them and I have made 1 in square wood blocks (100 actually) to help up with our counting, and math. Thankfully my oldest use the blocks to as they are good for all aspects of math. (-/+/x/fractions/and division and so on) You can get workbooks at the local dollars store, and so on. It is a matter of just hunting and knowing where to look.
As for 3rd grade. Curriculum is up to you as to what is best for you and your child. However, we use the Rod and Staff curriculum because it is so close the the ABEKA but without all the color. My kids really don't mind not having all the color and we actually use LIFEPAC as well. However, fair warning when looking at curriculum. Not all curriculum is the same for each grade. We got the 3rd grade for rod and staff as well as LIFEPAC and the LIFEPAC is a year behind the rod and staff. Just make sure that whatever you use it is the right level for your child. You don't have to do all of the same grade if your child is advanced in some us a higher grade or if they are behind then use a lower grade for that subject.
I really hope I have helped in some way. :)
