Hi all,

My name is Torie (Victoria) my son Bailey is 6 and has been home educated for 7 months. Our circumstances are complicated as to why we decided, after attending school for a year, why we wanted to home school. But its the best decision I have ever ever made. Although I am the main educator, my husband helps when he isn't working.

I am mainly looking for other contacts for support, help and guidence, both to give and receive. We are based on the Isle of Man for those who are interested.

Hope to hear from you all soon! Good luck to anyone starting out home educating and keep up the good work to those of you who already do!

in London there is alot of clubs you can go too.

Hi, my name is michelle and I have a daughter who is 6yrs old called Jessica, I have been home educating since january 2011 and its the best thing I have done. I love it and my daughter loves it even more. I live in Croydon, London. And don't think much of the schools round here. The deputy head teacher was my daughters classs teacher and she bullied her from the moment Jessica started Year 1. So I withdrew her. Im a qualified teacher and gave up working to do it. Well I am a mom homeschooling her sons in the US. I have learned so much by doing this and look forward to the start of our school days. I would love to chatt with any mom taking this journey.

Hi Torie my name is Diane I have just started to homeschool my twin sons who are 12 this month. After them being in the school system most of their life I just found that secondary school was not what I thought it was and in fact their were doing far worst was i pulled them out there are a few websites. mychild is one they have quite a few links on there I live in England but you are welcome to chat when ever you want it quite hard to find about homeschooling in the Uk. I had made a joke to my sister and said that we should move to the USA as they have got this homeschooling clubs etc sorted.
