So ummm do you poop or pee in front of your spouse?

Apparently a couple that poops together stays together.

Sure. Just this morning I took a piss while he was laying in bed just outside of the bathroom talking to me. I've pooped in front of him before too. When we go camping I make him go to the bathroom with me when I have to go at night and yes a few times I've needed to poop LOL! We have 3 bathrooms at home so if he's pooping and I need to use the bathroom I avoid him at all cost and use a different bathroom...he on the other hand likes my poop...it smells like roses :)

I pee in front of him, although I don't necessarily try to. If I have to pee while he is in the shower, I don't want him to look. Or we usually leave the door open, so we will see each other anyway. I don't let him see me poop, though. LOL That is kind of easy to avoid, since usually I only go in the morning (when I can go) and he is at work. When I was in labor and thought I had to poop, I shut him out of the bathroom and he would keep opening the door and I'd yell at him to get out. Of course I didn't go then, but I thought I had to. I do see him go both pee and poop. Again, it's not like I just watch him, but peeing is like whatever. Pooping is different. And sometimes he just has to poop while I'm showering which is annoying! Haha. Of course our 19 month old son is in on the action now. He always has to be in the bathroom with us. Although that is probably a good thing and hopefully it will help him learn.

A dutch oven is when you fart in bed and pull the covers over the other person's head so they're trapped under there with the fart! :D

Is it possible to be married and not fart in front of each other? lol

I think I'd spontaneously combust!

Oh boy and when I was pregnant, even IF I wanted to hold them in they'd sneak out of me before I even knew what happened. Huh? where'd that come from? I'd scare myself sometimes. You know, like when a balloon pops unexpectantly?

My husband's favourite reaction to his farts: "WOAH!!! What was that?"

Oh, you don't know, do you?

Everyone's posts are totally cracking me up. And yes, we "do our business" in front of each other. I don't like to wipe in front of him, but I do sometimes.

Well... my husband tends to want to have deep and meaningfuls when his on the throne... I always try to walk away because it smells (obviously) but he keeps calling me back, so we can talk.... hhahaha. And he always walks in on me to have a chat too. I don't think theres anything I can do to stop it. Oh well.

Lol I was super scared to poop after birth too! I took the stool softeners the first time and had literal water poop! At least it didn't hurt :P second time I was a home birth so no stool softener pills, I was scared! But honestly it wasn't bad, didn't hurt really but boy was I scared. Such trauma to that area to give birth and we worry about taking a crap!

I remember the worst time I ever had pooping was after I delivered my son and missed one of those pills they give you to avoid just this situation of being constipated.......... oh it was so bad......... I really felt like I gave birth again lol and was so scared to push because it was only like 1 week afterwards or something...... I told my boyfriend (im due in 3 months) do NOT let me forget those pills....... everrrrrrrrrrrrr again

There's a comedian that talks about this and he says he hates to see women poop because we just look so helpless sitting on the toilet all quaint and quiet and it's just wrong lol

[deleted account]

lol thats funny. lets see me and my guy pee in front of each all of the time its like no big thing especially since we only have one bathroom and the bathroom door is almost always left open especially since the baby like to just be everywhere that we are. Recently our baby had an accident so he went to go take her a bath well i really had to go ( poop!) and so i went right next to them while the baby was in the tub and he was washing her . I just couldnt hold it! After i was done he was like wait.. . did u just popp and i was like yes im sorry! and then we both just laughed it was like no big deal. Then the other day me and him were cleaning up the house and we were talking i saw him walk to the bathroon but i thought he was just putting something up since we were both still continuing with our conversation. So i walked over to the bathroom to ask him something and there he was just sitting on the toilet! we both had a moment of silence just stared at each and then just busted out laughing it was hilarious cuz that was the first time i had ever seen him pooping. haha oh man we're just dorky i guess haha

LOL. Well, my husband likes privacy when he poops but I don't care if he is in the bathroom when I go. Sometimes we have to be in the bathroom together while one is using the toilet. Everyone has to go. We aren't shy. But maybe that's because we were both in the Army and had to get used to it pretty quick. LOL

So I do both. I actually stopped closing the bathroom door once my husband and I started living together. He doesn't mind, he thinks its funny. He usually yells to me "Are you doing poopies in there?" LOL. And now with the baby walking around, god forbid the door is closed she has a panic attack. My husband refuses to poop with the door open. In fact, he doesn't even like talking through the door when he is in there, but he pees with the door open all the time.

What an awesome conversation! LMAO! My hubby and I will do either...though my hubby is never really in long enough that any conversation can't just wait the two minutes he takes. I don't care if he sees me, will generally leave the door open. But I figure he has seen me give birth twice, even had the placenta from our first child land on his shoe in the delivery room! Also I am a mother to 3 aged 8 to 17...I have not peed or pooped alone in 17 years and yes the 17 yr old son will still sit on the floor for a visit while I am poopin! LMAO! Thanks ladies!

I haven't laughed this hard in a while.... :) Well to me it is not a big problem . I do like me some private time but that ain't happening with kids. But the hubby and I dont have a problem we let each other know if it is a stinker or not. If I have to ask him a question I will just plug the nose and hurry the heck out of there. As long as he or I let each other know we have farted like in the car or in a small space we are all good!!!

We'll use the bathroom while the other is in the shower and occasionally pee while one is at the sink getting ready. When we lived in a 2 bath house it didn't happen as much though I didn't close the MB door all the way usually. I don't think I've ever done #2 in front of him.

In all honestly, the last thing on my mind when I need to go to the bathroom is whether the door is shut or not. Even if I do shit it, i've got 3 kids that can open it so it doesn't really matter either way. No we don't make a habit of following eachother to the bathroom just to talk while one is doing their business but if he needs to tell me something or vice versa and one of us is in the bathroom then we will go tell the person something then leave. I'm not embarrased. There really isn't anything on me he hasn't seen so I don't see why it would be a big deal.

I will pee in front of my hubby but not poop or fart. That just nasty to me and embarrassing. We have been together for almost 8 years too.Now if I have a question i will pop my head in for a few seconds and ask and than i am out he has some rank poos.

LOL! Interesting theory. My husband and I have been married for 16 1/2 years! When we got married, that was the one privacy I requested. I'd prefer to do my duty privately. He said that would be fine and that's how it's been. There have been a couple exceptions. After delivering my first baby and after a surgery I needed help in the restroom and of course he was willing. Other than that, the door is closed.

The bathroom door is rarely shut around here. If it's shut you know it's bad in there...or there's company.

[deleted account]

No stage fright here. Yes it reeks but we have only one bathroom so neither one of us cares if the other happens to be in there. It does suck if I am brushing my teeth and he comes flying into the bathroom and does a power dump. You just don't stand a chance of getting out of there fast enough.

[deleted account]

eh, I have no issues with using the toilet in front of my hubby and he has no issues with using the toilet in front of me. Honestly, we've never made a big deal out of it and I've never even thought twice about it. When I have to go I go, no matter who happens to be in the bathroom at the time...

Not now, but we used to all the time. 7.5 years of marriage and I could probably count on one hand the number of times any of us ever closed the door just to use the bathroom unless we had other people over.
