Appropriate name for a costume?

I was at Target today looking at Halloween costumes and I came across this one for a girl. It is called Sweet L'il Treat. I think the costume itself is fine and if I had a daughter I would let her wear it if she was in her early teens. The name of the costume of disturbs me! It honestly makes me think of child prostitution.

Edit: Tried adding the picture on the post but it wouldn't let me!

I wrote a review, but it seems it has to go through moderation and be approved before it shows up. Darn.

I basically said, The name sounds pervy and someone in marketing needs to rethink the name. That I fail to see what being a sweet lil treat has to do with a witches costume.

Call me an English nerd, but it reads more like a play on words to me. Albeit gender-specific, it plays to the idea that girls are sweet and because they are going trick-or-treating I think it's a combination of that. Now if it had said 'Sweet lil' Trick'...that might speak more to prostitution. In this case, I am not bothered by the name.

Costume is ok... name is not.

I think if they want to use a name like that.... the costume better be a candy bar or something. ;)

I was expecting a cupcake or something.

The costume is fine but it should be Sweet Lil' Witch. Perhaps is was a misprint or a type error? It happens.

It's kind of a dumb costume. It looks like something Avril Lavigne would wear.

it's a dumb name. it doesn't represent the costume, nor should it. why couldn't the costume be called something more literal like Witch Princess or something...

I was picturing a cupcake when I read the name. Honestly, I think most women's and many girls' halloween costumes (manufactured, not home made) make them look like street walkers.

Yeah, I don't get what it's supposed to be. I'm getting tired of costumes that aren't actually a thing. It kind of looks like a witch, but not really. And the name suggests otherwise.

I'm kind of bitter because I tried to find a bee costume for Freja and they all looked like this only with yellow instead of pink. That is not an effing bee!

errm. yeah. That name is a bit disturbing. I'm hoping the person who named it didn't think the name through enough.

What does being a "Girl's Sweet lil' Treat" have anything to do with a witches costume anyways? I think if they took the "Girl's" part out of it, it would be a little less disturbing. Or they were talking about a candy or sweets costume.

Yeah, I was expecting a cupcake costume! I agree, not crazy about that name. If it was a cupcake, I would've been okay with that, because that is a sweet little treat! :)

Yeah, I think the name is a bit inappropriate. Maybe an adult slutty version could be called that...
