Wow wish we had that kind of thing here. the last time I watched a Flash mob performance it was done in Paddington Station London. That was a full opera....

I love this video! And all the other flash mob ones - they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and I wish I could be a part of one! The Hallelujah one is the ones that my friend's friend was bitching about how they were trying to shove their Christian agenda down people's throats and blah blah blah - stop over analyzing everything - it's meant to spread smiles not the messages of Christ! For the love of pete - some people need to get over themselves! Oh and it was in Welland - the video was posted by Alphabet Photography whom I have on my Facebook. Anyway - here's another one that I really LOVE!

lol that is awsome to! They do a version every year in Calgary before Halloween of Thriller. 2 of my girlfriends from highschool do it every year. (the girl in the blue tshirt with long black sleeves and the girl with the punk rock look just behind her are friends of mine, lol. they are on the right hand side of the video.)

I love being Canadian , we had a flash mob in our down town just the other week . There was a 4 day long party down there for our Grey cup celebration ( Canadian football for those who don't know , yes it exists ;) ) Anyway there was a mini football field in the main square downtown and music playing , no one was dancing or anything , then out of nowhere one little girl starts dancing . Before you knew it there was about 100 people dancing the same dance . It was awesome , that little girl was brave !!!

Just checked her page, it was actually posted on Nov.22nd, which tells you how much time is flying right now. I need one of those "pause" effect things from 80's teen movies so I can get everything done for Christmas. I hardly have time to come on COM anymore for heaven's sake!

I think it was done about 2 weeks ago. My girlfriend had the video up on her profile early last week sometime, apparently she went to music school at UVic with one of them.

A very well done version of it too.. As someone who sang in a choir for 8 years, and misses it, that was a very well done version without a conductor, I used to like singing that one too!

I saw this on the Today show last week. One of the cool things (I thought) was the first girl who starts singing, she's on the phone with her sister, trying to calm her nerves. I know I would have been scared to death too!

*Edited to add* I think it was in Welland, Canada?

Laura - they didn't say.

It's US news......so you know it only happened 'yesterday' because it's not 'death related' and you know they won't tell us where 'normal' people live because it happened in Canada....Gods forbid we find out that life is better 'up there'

;)

I just saw it on HLN news.....I thought it was awesome....
Made me think of my mom....she lived for Christmas.....she was the quintessential mall shopper.... ...this was her favorite song....she died in May this year.....she would have LOVED this.
