After discussing the untrustworthy atheist thread with my kids we wondered who we would have a few drinks and good conversation with? We came up with Dumbledore, Jack Sparrow, Van Gogh, Brunel, Hannibal Lector (in chains), Henry VIII, The Dalai Lama and Alice after her adventure in Wonderland.

So who would you have a drink with, famous, fictional, or historical?

I find meeting people I admire a bit of a let down...but if they are fictional, then I agree with Tracey's daughter on the Dr. Who thing.

And with Dr Who you could travel and meet who ever you want. Anyone see the Van Gogh episode?

Ok, here are some of the ones I have been able to come up with:

*Albert Einstein

*Nikola Tesla

*My grandmother and grandfather - they are both gone now, and yet I still get questions in my

head I would love to get them to answer, or only they can answer :-(

* Jesus

* Cleopatra

* Zeus and Chiron

* Jules Verne

* Charles Darwin

* Leonardo Da Vinci

* Luke Skywalker and Obi Won (spell?)

* Billy the Kid ( I would have to wear full bodied pullet-proof vest, but what the heck lol)

* Jimi Hendrix

*Jim Morrison

* Kurt Cobain

* Napoleon (just really curious...lol)

* Christopher Walken.... (so many reasons... he he he he hehe)

* Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield (Pulp Fiction) - come on, how effing cool are these two guys?... seriously! To me they epitomise C O O L!!!!

* John McClane (Die Hard) - another epitomy of super effing cool.

* Mulder and Scully (yeah, well.... loved 90s tv.. he he he.....)

* Buffy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer - tv series)

* Angel (Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel - tv series)

* Spike (yes, all three could easily kill me, especially the last two.... but, what fun ;-) )

* Stefan Edberg (had a serious crush on him as a teen... he he he... so sue me :-P )

* Jason Bourne (cause he is HOT HOT HOT)

Ok, I think I could just keep going, but I might leave it for now...lol ;-P

EDA: I think I would do more than just have a drink and convo with Jason Bourne... I think I would want to run away with him... he he he ;-)

She probably wouldn't know if the Kennedys killed her as I doubt they would have done it in person, could be an interesting conversation though.

hmm...never heard of that theory. It would certainly make sense. Not that I'm justifying killing a "homewrecker" but I'm just saying I understand the theory.

I would have to think I'd get dumber if Marilyn Monroe spoke during our drink. I'm not sure why people are obsessed with her....nowadays we'd call her a skank

Jesus, because I'd be interested in finding out just how much his followers may have twisted his teachings. Claire and Jamie from the Outlander series. Dorothy Parker. Oscar Wilde. Stephen Colbert. Barack Obama.
