Hi my name is Kellie and I have a 3 month old son named Jack. Jack was born by emergency c-section 3 weeks early on the 21 May this year. Jack's initial weight and measurements are a little questionable as the mindwives were changing shifts and everything was done in a hurry. Initially he was weighed at 3.6kg but just a couple of days later he weighed in at 3.2kg. He also seemed to shrink 5cm and his head circumfrance shrunk by 3.5cms also. The doctors who measured him the second time thought that it was more likely that the second measurements were correct because he did not have floppy skin. Three months and 2 weeks later he weighs over 6.5kg and is 60cm long. I can't beleive my little boy who wore 00000 is now in 00! I could sit here and tell you all the cute and cleaver things that Jack does but I had a more important question to ask you all. Does anyone have a baby that used to love car trips and then overnight started to scream everyime he was in the car? I've read some other posts on discussion boards about turning the seat around early but I am a little concerned about the safety of this. Any ideas?

Hi My name's Candice - I have a 10 week old baby born on 31/12/2009. He was born in Singleton Hospital and weighed 8lbs 12 oz and 53cm long. He has been a great baby - slept like a dream at night from about 5 weeks old.

my daughter who is now 14 months old did the same thing loved car rides and oneday started screaming, resulted in one of us sitting in the back with her till she was happy again from memory it lasted abut a month, i didnt turn her seat till she was trying to sit up on her own at 6months, and was the right weight to do so for safety. Untill the can sit nsupported and hold own head weight its not safe for them to sit up they still need to be rear facing in the recline position.

hopes this helps!
