Hi. My Baby is almost 12 mos old. and I too have decided not to vaccinate my child with contaminates and unnatural things. I feed him all organic food and he has been breastfed for 10 mos. He is very healthy and happy and has never been sick. I too receive alot of criticism,especially because I am a nurse, but I don't care, I believe we are born natural with immaculate immune systems and when we start putting toxins into it that is how we become ill. Disease doesn't just happen, it accumulates! Cheers for no vaccines!

That's great to hear! My daughter is 11 months old, still fully breastfed. She's never had any kind of medication besides a few homeopathic teething tabs. Other than that, she is completely clean! I feed her lots of superfoods and we like probiotic treats like kiefer when we can get them (our grocery store doesn't order many). She eats all organic food and I usually make her food. She has had lactose intolerance and reflux in the beginning but I went through the elimination diet when my friends and cousins were putting their babies on strong adult medication that in a couple cases caused seizures and in one case kidney failure!! With my natural approach, my daughter's horrible reflux was gone within a month and no side effects, just hard work on my part! =)
She has never been sick either, not even a runny nose! She's had plenty of opportunities, though. We have had at least 3 horrible colds since she was born, chest coughs, fevers, the whole bit. Layla never even got a hint of it even though we often co-sleep! She has also been early at everything, eating solids at 2 months, sitting up at 3.5 months, crawling at 5 months, standing up by herself at 6 months, walking at 10 months, now she is potty training at 11 months, has 5 teeth, feeds herself with a fork, and can communicate with 5 spoken words and about 10 signs that she is now stringing into sentences! =)

When my daughter was born I was very uneasy about not getting her vaccinated. My boyfriend (her father) was never vaccinated and was very against it. Going to the docotor the first few times was hard because I felt as if I was doing something wrong in their eyes. I just always thought it was just somthing that you do because you are supposed to and everyone will think you are being a good mother by doing it. I did research on both sides of the subject and the more I read I become more at ease with my decision. I feel that she will build a natural immunity. She is now 7 months old and I still have had no major health issues besides a slight cold. She sleeps though the night and is a healtly eater. A friend of mine had her son the same day as my daughter. She had her child vaccinated and I have noticed with them being the same age he has had earaches, acid reflux problems and always seems to be sick though the winter months. I dont know if this is because of vaccinations but it really makes me wonder seeing my daughter has been 99% healthly. I have also been taking her out since she has been a week old. We get out of the house at least once a week esp in the winter to avoid any cabin fever so she has been exposed to many people around her. Its nice to know that there are other mothers out there who are facing the same issues and to have somewhere to come and talk about it with people who understand what you are doing for your chidren and not judging you for it.

my daughter is now 18years never vaccinated,only homeopathically. Never been a very sick child, had chicken pox when she was 5, took her to a homeopath for the itch and it worked wonders. I have always tried to feed my children good wholesome food and have always taken them to naturopaths very rarely doctors, but  they have still had their fair share of junk, can't stop them when they are teenages, but they are aware. My eldest daughter was vaccinated but not measles/mumps but she has always been healthy I was much more stricter with her diet. I am also I trained nurse so I have always nursed my chidren myself through ilnesses, I have always worked partime but have always been there for my girls  or a family member has. I to get a lot of critisim, sometimes I bite my tongue because some people just don't want to know and find it easier to vaccinate, that is their decision.

I too, have chosen not to vaccinate and I believe that is why my child is so happy and content. We hardly ever hear her cry (except for food or diaper change). She has also been sleeping for 10 - 12 hours a night straight since she was about 6 weeks old.
