I still can believe that my perfect amazing beautiful baby was born with this birth defect and has gone through such a horrible surgery and now has a scar(that her hair hides) and is 100%normal well as normail as a 3yr old could be!!!! it all seems sureal!

they are real troopers I look at these kids in Awe of their strength and copassion for us the parents who are dealing with this and watching our bautiful children actually go throught it! they are all AMAZING! How lucky we are!

I'm with you. I'm looking back from four months after surgery and can't believe we went through so much. My son looks great now and is going back to the plastic surgeon next week to see if we are done with his helmet. He was a trooper through it all.
