Besides the not listening thing, my husband constantly plays video games! He will hold our little one mid air, just so he doesn't have to stop playing. It's nice that he takes the baby, but now I think she's addicted to the television. She eat and actually stops to turn to the t.v. and then back to me. I wouldn't bother me so much if I wasn't breastfeeding, but I am. Can you imagine having my little girl rip away from the nipple cause she wants to watch. Yeah, so can you also say ouch!

You know what my husband use to do the same thing and I have him slowly moving to the bathroom. Instead of finding toenails in the living room, I find them all over the sink in the guest bathroom. It's still pretty gross to me, but god love him for trying. As for the socks, just hide them until he realizes hey I put them here. Don't feel bad we all get pretty mad at our guys. My hubby is gone for a month and the house is CLEAN, but now it's too clean. It doesn't feel lived in. I guess my house is not a home without my slob.

My husband use to be bad with the games too, but between work and school and spending time with us he don't have much time anymore...Thank God..lol, but My pet Peeve is when my husband leaves his sock in the middle of the living rm floor or he shoves them under the sofa.... I was cleaning one day and found them under there and got so tired of it that I left them there...till he didn't have any for work and I did not tell him where they were I made him go to work in his work boots without socks. The other thing is when he clips his toe nails he puts them on the edge of the sofa or coffee table and then leave them there...AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I have more, but I guess I will leave it at these 2 because I am starting to make my self get mad thinking about if I go look now I might just find socks under the sofa.

Ok yes, ignoring the kids while playing is something that I cannot stand.... And it happens all the time, our son is almost three, so can talk and ask for things that he wants, etc... Anytime he talks to my Husband while playing a video game he has to wait to get a response until he either dies, in which case he gets mad for five minutes, or until my husband DECIDES to pause it... I have been getting upset most recently because he just a bought a new game a book to go with it, I guess it's the new resident evil. And every time I talk to him during it now he ignores me, and then gets pissed off cuz apparently I am distracting him.... ??? But he didn't always use to do that... So I told him that if he gets that kind of an attitude with me again while he's playing that game I'm going to take the game AND the book, and take them for a ride in my car and chuck them out the window as I drive next to a lake around here somewhere. He said, no you won't, I won't let you. I said, then you better start taking it to work with you then.... lol He stopped COMPLETELY flipping out now... :)

Well i agree that it keeps mine outta my hair, but as soon as the baby falls asleep. Here comes my hubby asking if I can play with him cause none of our friends like to play as much as he does. So I feel bad, end up playing till the baby wakes up and then realize that I have done nothing with my time. I think my hubby played for about six hours straight once! This just got me upset cause my baby girl was crying for like two hours straight and he's down stairs without a care in the world apparently. I think this was when she was less than a month old. I swear I was ready to pull my own hair out!

lol Ouch! And so does my husband.... Maybe it's just a military thing... As I sit here waiting for my son to get up that's exactly what he's doing... And he hasn't stopped playing this game for like 4 days STRAIGHT now... I mean, on one hand, it annoys the crap outta me because he "can't"/won't talk while he does, or do anything while he is for that matter and on the other hand, it keeps outta my hair! lol
