A brief introduction of myself. My name is Liz and I am 22 years old. My husband and I live in the south suburbs of Chicago with our nearly eight month old twins. A boy and a girl. They were born six weeks early just one day shy of thirty four weeks. My son had underdeveloped lungs s when he was born, but after some special medications and being on a respirator for four hours he just needed oxygen. He was able to come home eight days after they were born. He was born at four pounds ten ounces and eighteen inches long. My daughter had weight gaining problems and was born at three pounds twelve ounces and seventeen inches long. When she came home twelve days after they were born she was just over four pounds. Now they have to be at least seventeen pounds and my son is twenty eight inches long and my daughter is twenty seven inches long.
