well for me with a spinal injury its very hard to get around i cant work because im a liaability so i spend 24/7 365 at home im going completely out of my mind i have no friends to call and noone comes over so its like im trapped in my apt.and im going nuts my kids are 9 and 5 and i never do or go anywhere im so tired any advice

I have a family day once a week. Some days we go downtown (Chicago) others we truck it to Starved Rock) and others we stay at home for family movie night and popcorn. Check out Chicagokids.com they have stuff for all over Illinois to do. :)

I am recently divorced but my children are older so so playdates, daycare or not issues for me. I am from a small town and justing looking for single moms who understand what it is like to being a single mom of teenagers. Ex lives miles away and doesnt have much contact with kids. I try to check site at least once a week but some weeks it just doesnt happen. Hope you get the info you are looking for.
