I was just wondering how many of you got a cerclege and was put on bed rest and how many got a cerclege and was not put on bed rest?

i was put on bed rest for 2 months and worked she only came 2 wks early at 6lbs 1oz but i am pregnant again now and worried about not being able to do this

I never got a cerclege. I was just put in the hospital at 18 weeks and could not get up at all. I was in the traneilinburg position (head toward the floor) and I was like that for 10 weeks until the babies came.

Hi, I got my cerclage at 14 weeks and was on bed rest until 37 weeks. I was going to be let off bed rest at 34 weeks, but started going into preterm labor. My bed rest was strict for weeks 14-29 & 34-37, but modified for 29-34.

i was only put on bedrest for a few days after i got the cerclage put in but i was no longer able to work after i was 10 weeks

I have been through 3 cerclage pregnancies and I was put on bedrest for all 3. I, most definitely, decided to err on the side of extreme caution. In talking it through with my high risk doc, we decided that this would be the best course of action for me. I do know many other cerclage mommies who were put on little or partial bedrest and went on to have successful pregnancies. It depends on your doc, your comfort level, and, of course, being monitored very closely.
