hi i am pregnant for the second time now, i didnt end up having the stitch the first time as i had 2 months bed rest but did have steriods. i am wondering now as i have a 2 year old whether to have it put in this time ??

i had the stitch put in early the second time, after almost losing my son @ 19 weeks due to undiagnosed IC. this time, since my specialist knew about my condition, she put the stitch in at the 14 week mark. unfortunately, i had placental abruption and had to have the stitch removed @ 17 weeks, and i lost the baby...but it was like a 1% of that happening, it may not have been because of the stitch being put in early...but next time i get prgnant, i am going to wait on the stitch, to make sure it is completely necessary. hope i could help :)

I am not much help, but am in the same boat. I was on BR for 11 weeks and my son was born at almost 31 weeks. Hopefully some other 2nd+ timers will share their stories with us!!
