By now most of you know that Elia "speaks" American Sign Language.
She's acquired quite a vast vocabulary of feeling words, objects, foods, animals, and actions.
It all begin at 6 months old when she first learned the word "thank-you" from me.
But now she has surpassed me! (I have to catch up with her!)
And she's learned almost all of it from the "Baby Signing Time" series.
It's a fun way to learn ASL for babies and parents!
Filled with practical signs to music and song, and demonstrations by other babies just like ours,
it's a fun, captivating way for babies to learn how to show what they are thinking, feeling, and needing.
It was created by a mom who's first child was born deaf and second child was born with spina bifida and cerebral palsy (an amazing mother!)
Check it out at www.babysigningtime.com.
For moms who live in Pohang who would like to try one out, I have a few you can try.
Just respond to this conversation and we can arrange something.
But please note: these DVDs can only play on computers or vcrs set to the U.S. region.
