Mine are 11 months apart. They are now 20 and 21. For the month they are the same age, they still love to play a game on people who dont know them, about being the same age but not "twins".

My Irish twins are 7 months apart. My second was premature at 27 weeks. If he hadn't been so early they would have been 10 months apart !

I dont have irish twins but from what I have read on the internet I have irish triplets which is 3 children born to the same mother within a 3 year time period. When my youngest was born my oldest was 2 years 8 months old. Caleb is now 3, Connor is 2 and Collin will 1 next month. Its alot of work but wouldnt trade it for the world.

Wow yours are really close! My two oldest girls were born the exact same day, 1 year apart. June 14th 1992 and 1993. :)

My girls are 12 months 2 weeks apart. They are almost 7 and 8 now, and generally act like sisters, and twins. Same sports, same room, sometimes wear the same clothes. But hate it when one copies the other.

My boys are exactly 51 weeks apart. My youngest was born the week before my oldest's 1st birthday. So not what we had planned, but wouldn't give them back for the world.

Our boys are 10 months, 23 days apart! They are both 2 at the moment and people look at me crazy when they ask if they are twins, I say no, they ask how old they are, and I now say they are both 2. I then have to explain the Irish twin moment and people talk about how close they'll be when they grow up. It's funny because even though they are only 2, they are already so close as brothers!

My boys are nine months and three days. should have been closer to eleven months but shane decided to arrive at 32 weeks. at times i think it would have been easier had they been natural twins but as they get older and start school they have become firm friends and im now getting a full nights sleep :)

Oh my mine are 10 months 8 days apart, right now they are both 15 and my youngest is bigger the my oldest. I love how close they are with each other. They were a handful when they were babies... But it was well worth it now that they are older.

Mine went just over the 12 mo, at 13 mo apart, but the younger ones are twins. Our older kids were so spaced and are now 12 and 19. We had our son Luke, and decided to have 2 very close together, getting the shock of our lives with twins, Anthony and Jesse. So with kids 19, 12, 3 and 2 yr old twins, so many think it is a second marriage, but same husband for all!

Mine are 5.5 months apart! We adopted a little girl in Sept 008 (born 9/4) and in March 2009 we adopted another baby girl (born 2/13). Granted, they aren't biological sisters, but they are our Irish twins!

Mine aren't exactly Irish Twins, but very very close. They are 14 months apart. And both girls. My younger daughter is as big as her older sister, and they really look like twins. They don't act like it though! They couldn't possibly be more different developmentally, socially, even their sleeping and eating habits are out of whack.
