My daughter that was born in January 2001 was born at home. It was the most stressful and exicitng thing that happened to me. Her birthday came out in the Maryland lottery the next day. How wild is that???

aw wow, must have been scary for you. My son was born 03 Jan 2001. I have had 2 girls since. My last baby, who is nearly 3 was born at home too. It was planned but in the end I changed my mind and wanted to go to hospital lol. But it was too late, my husband nearly had to deliver her but he called 999 and an ambulance was soon here.

I had two more, one boy and a girl. My daughter Brianna is 8 now and she is a happy healthy second grader.

Wow! That must have been quite the event. Is she your last child or have you had more since?

No. I was waiting for my husband to get home from work. When he got there, my water broke and I told him to call the ambulance because I knew I wasn't going to make it to the hospital. She was my third child, thank goodness. I knew what to do.

I have a son born in January 2001. He was born in the hospital though. It must have been scary and exciting to have her at home. Was that planned?
