He is only 4.5 and today a permanent tooth erupted behind a lower baby tooth (front one). I was stunned. Anyone else?

I just saw this post and my 4.5 year old just lost her first tooth and I called the denitist cause I tought she was too young also and he said it was fine. Yes I was also stunned and shocked that she would lose them this early. My 6 year old nephew just lost his first one after he turned 6 so I guess it just happens when there ready.

No worries Katherine. I am glad to know we are within the normal range. None of my other children lost their baby teeth so young.
