Boys loving their stuffed animals a little too much

Has anyone had any problems with their little boys enjoying their stuffed animals a little too much if you know what I mean? I don't know what's normal for a boy because my first child was a girl and she's just so different. So is this normal behavior? Should I make him stop?

Its not just boys! My little girl does it too but only to my pillow!

Ok I'm glad I'm not alone on this. Thanks everyone for your help and stories. I'm hoping it's just a phase and he'll grow out of it.

My little boy has stuffed animal "love" issues. He carries a little duck around, which I think is cute...and he kisses it like crazy! He also has a pumpkin man that is the same size he is, and at first he would walk up to it and kiss it, but lately he throws it on the floor and lays on top of it and kisses it...and it looks like he is also humping it. We think its kinda funny and let him do it, because he doesn't really know what he is doing and he isn't really obsessed with his peepee yet. When he gets to an age where "loving" the stuffed animal too much gets weird then we will stop it, but I think they are still so little now that it's okay.

It seems like what you are trying to say is that he is rubbing his genitalia on this particular stuffed animal. It is normal- he is figuring out his body, what feels good and what hurts. I am trying to convince my little one that grabbing his penis during a diaper change is a no-no. I don't care if he does in the bath, but when he is covered in poo... yeah.

Don't worry yet- in ten years if he sill humps stuff in public, THEN worry!

I was on a baby milestone site earlier today and it said that they should be getting attached to a particular toy or item right about now. This is my first baby and he has many stuffed animals we got as gifts. He takes them off their shelf and throws them around. Even if he favored one and took it everywhere, I don't think it would be alarming. I think I would feel happy he was able to favor or be attached to anything!
