From what I've heard children have been able to see paranormal activity because of a few reasons…one is that they have just been born so they are closer to the spirit world and 2 is that they have not been exposed to influences of the world so they aren't made to believe that there is no such thing as ghosts and they are more open minded then us so they see the littlest thing were tend to ignore or over look they have a lot of prof of this and if you feel this spirit is not harm to your child i would just leave it be unless it bugs your son

My sons have seen "ghosts". My grandfather passed away when they were 8 weeks old. We now live in his house, my sons talk to him all the time. I agree with Cecily, if your son is not being harmed and is not scared, I would leave it be. My sons got scared one time by something or someone, and I told them that it was ok. I try to act like it is an imaginary friend.

I am a concerned mother. My daughter is 3.5, she met a 'spirit' at a Church function (my stepmom and I noticed her talking to someone). Since than, they do things together, and she communicates with "MAX". One night, we were folding laundry, we heard a boom, and my daughter ran to the other room, and gave "MAX" heck, and said I told you not to touch my moms stuff, she than proceeded to go towards "MAX", grabbed a hand, and gave him a time out. And another situation was, I woke up yesterday morning to find the house, torn apart, nothing ruined, just a disaster. I asked my daughter what happened, and she informed me "MAX" wanted an adventure. They made forts with couch cushions, 2 juice box were in the forts, and 2 bags packed by the front door (her undies, and socks). She can describe him completely, said he is a little bigger than her, blue eyes, blonde hair, and always smiling. Now my question is, should I be alarmed, what should I do?

Hello, im not a mother or n e thing, but i have A LOT of experience with kids, and pretty much helped raised my cousin....my cousin used to live with us, and this isn't the reason why her and my aunt moved out.. But n e ways one night my aunt and i were sleeping and my cousin would wake up and start pointing at the wall and started saying hi;and she would just keep repeating it and repeating it...we already knew that a women passed away in that part of the house before we moved in... another time was when my cousin just started pointing at the ceiling and she was just scared of it..she wouldn't let n e of the family in that corner, and my dog would start barking in that exact same spot...i believe in this paranormal stuff, and all im saying is that as long as it doesnt harm your child, you have nothing to worry about but if things get serious like my second experience, then do something about it. :)

My son who is now 6 was around 3 at the time. We lived in a maternity support home ( i had a newborn too) He started screaming about a man being in his room, he would scream at nap time, at night, at play time..Anytime he was in the room alone he would scream, he wouldn't sleep in there, if I left the room I would find him 2 minutes behind me. The Support home called in people to pray over the apartment, annoint oil over each doorway and the one lady they had there sensing things.(by the way they called these people into the maternity home I lived in before the support housing because I had sensed stuff in that place too and I was scared there) Anyhow this lady seen me leave before they went into my apartment and told the staff not to tell them which apartment was mine..They went through the other apartments, everything was fine, they got to my door and the lady touched the door knob screamed and jumped back saying "this is her apartment, the girl from the main house" They went through my house and ended up telling the staff there was spirits all over that apartment the one in my soons room was a very depressed anxious man, another spirit travelled from my kitchen to my living room moving stuff (that one was not depressed just bored i guess)..Anyhow apparently those spirits had attached themselves to me and followed me from place to place, they waited until my son and I had returned and put the oil on our foreheads and annointed us as well as the doorways figuring it wasn't the apartment, whatever it was was with us...So yes I believe children can see things we can't always see let alone sense. This was a very frightening experience for both my son and I and I really really hope we never go through anything like this again

my 4 year old has started waking crying at night, doesn't want to go to bed anymore, ect. She told my mom today that "mike" was in her drawing. I have been feeling weird in the house at night and so I asked her questions about who Mike is, she NEVER talks about people who aren't either right there or really high value to her (mom, dad, sister, brothers, best friend). I talked to my husband about it and he said she had mentioned a mike two days ago and he thought she was talking about someone I knew and he didn't. His first reaction was that the only person he knew to die here was Nancy. I am thinking Mike might be either a ghost or otherwise part of while she's been acting strange lately. I just have been asking her things about Mike and being supportive of their "friendship" since she hasnt said anything threatening about him so far today.

When my older daughter was young say about 3/4 she mentioned that she had seen my mother-in-law's mum on the balcony and she was talking to her, and wanting to hold her hand, then she would say that she would go in grandpa's car with her and sit in the front for the ride. Now and again she would say that she thinks has seen her in her grans house.

When my daughter was younger and I was staying at her Fathers house, I had her and her cousin laying down with me on the bed she was only 6 months n her cousin was 2 n a 1/2. My daughter looked towards the door n started screaming crying, and when her cousin looked he jumped over me n screamed. When I asked her cousin what happened he said he had seen a scary face, and he was making a scary face. They both was really frightened and no1 was their. So I do think children can see ghosts, and I do agree with everyone else. If the ghosts are harmless leave it be, If there not get help. During Halloween The "spirits" tend to come out more. And last Halloween my daughter would not sleep right for weeks and start talking to people when she was alone in her room, or she would get up in the night screaming. So I read online about It and I put salt along her window because It says to get rid of ghosts. It did work for the few weeks around Halloween, so hopefully any of this helped!

it cud be your neighbour visiting him especially if u got on well with her or equally it cud be a relative or his spirit guide looking out for him. she seems harmless enough so i agree with the others,

my 4yr boy can see "pple". he has since he was born which was annoying smetimes as he think hes lookin/smilin at you bt wen u look AT him hes lookin straight past you 8)... i agree to a few parents, if they are not harmin ur child or scaring them then i would leave it... now my DS is older he still speaks of them smetimes he will acted out and he tells me his"bros" told him to do it. this was happening for a while. my DS was gettin mostly in trouble int he end i ask them to leave him alone if they not nice friends etc and after that my DS is back to 'normal' boy which is great. so it depends on the situation...

i do not want to see such things. i always pray to God that don/t make me scared. why dont you get some advice with your religious leader. if you are christian, place the god's picure in that room and let your child look at it and pray before go to bed. you and your son can wear a cross with a chain all the time. I will pray for you too.

The first night my husband and I moved into our 103 year old home, he talked out loud to the house and to any spirits that were there. He told them that, if there were any, they could stay or go, but if they bothered us in any way, he would torch the house and they'd have nowhere to go. This was pre-children, of course, but neither the kids nor we have noticed anything.

I fully believe that children can see ghosts. Its because they are pure and innocent and have not been polluted by all the different views that other people have about ghosts. I agree with everyone else as well, I don't see any point in trying to remove her from your place as she is not doing any harm to your boy, but if this was to happen I would suggest getting in a um priest or some holy person to bless your house.

My mon passed away when my Misha was 3months old.Since she could speak she were calling/talking to her granny at night. Now she's 2 and half and says that granny visits her. She's having a baby monitor in her room and me and hubby have heard her speaking to someone in her room sometimes during the day and she always says its granny. She's not scared at all so I see no reason why I should discourage her from doing it.Since a month ago she also mentions a playmate!!This I'm not sure if its a spirit or imaginary friend lol.
