My daughter turned 3 jan,16. shes always been a slow grower. never really had a major growth spurt. right now she is 28-29lbs and half an inch over 3feet. how big is your 3 year old?

Mine turns 4 January 8th. She's tall and lean; so much so the doctor actually asked me if she was eating well at our last appointment. I guess her BMI (which is a new measurement for children, at least to me) was only the 10th percentile. She is 38" and weighs 31 pounds; most of which I think is in her head ;)

Shes bigger then my baby, my girl turned 3 in july and she is only 25 lbs. and 34 inches in height. but is the healthiest little girl in her class!

My daughter turned 3 August 17. She grows fast, but doesn't keep up in weight..she weighed 27 lbs for nearly a year..now she's 32lbs and 37 1/2 inches tall. Then again she's always been long and lean she was 8lbs 2oz and 22 1/4 inches long the day she was born!

yes my daughter nad her cousin are built like jockey's, she was small born at a good weight for a month early, 6,4 pounds, what is lbs and how do you convert to understand? :)

Glad you switched doctors. Our daughter saw one like that in the beginning. She had been 6 weeks premature and spent the 1st 3 weeks in NICU and then one of the doctors in her old pediatric office told us at 4 months she needed to be put on a diet. Seriously. She'll be 3 Dec 03 and is at 31 #'s, 37 inches tall.

My daughter was 3 in Feb but her Ped. is concerned about her growth so we go every 6 months for a growth check. We went yesterday and she was up 1lb and 1 1/2 in since May. She's all of 26.25 lbs and 35.5 in. Although I'm 5'2 and her father is 5'4. And since the dr's had the same concerns about me and my younger sister I'm not at all concerned. She's just gonna be small.

MY daughter has always been on the tall side. She turned 3 in June and she is 40lbs and 42inches. I think some kids will start to grow later than others as well if you or your partner aren't very tall then you shouldn't expect her to be. I'm 5'10" and my husband is 6'. My daughter wears size 6 clothes and a size 11.5 shoe which is the same as a kindergarten or grade one kid. People think she is 5 or 6 so they expect more out of her till you tell them she is only 3.

Our 3 year old is GINORMOUS! LOL! He's just turned 3 in August, and he's already outgrowing 3T clothes, and he's wearing a size 9 shoe (but not for long). He's 37 inches tall and is 35lbs. Tallllll kiddo! Your daughter doesn't sound like she's abnormal at all! I have a niece who's about the same as your daughter & I just think every kid is different and has their spurts, so i wouldn't worry too much! :)

My son turned three June 24th and he is huge! He is 45 pounds and the size of a 5 year old. He isn't obese or anything, hes just going to be a big boy! Most def a football player!!!

my child is turned 3 the 18th jan,, and she is so tiny aswell. smallest in nursery and she just weighs just over 2stone.. i think it is cute some come smallans some larger. i wouldnt worry over it i am just 4ft 7in andnot heavy at all x

My daughter is about 37 1/2" and weighs 32 lbs. but she is actually considered small to everyone in my family because all of the other nieces, nephews, grandkids were bigger than her at that age.

My 3 year old will be 4 next month. She was 5lbs 1/2oz and 18in long when she was born. She was my peanut. She dropped to 4lbs 9oz the day we were discharged. She made the nicu cutoff by a couple oz! Today she is just a little over 30lbs and close to 40in tall. She's finally starting to outgrow her 2T's and bust into her 3T's. She's always been in the lowest percentile for weight for her age, but the pediatrician isn't worried. She's tiny, but tall. I'm hoping to enter her in gymnastics next year!

my daughter turns 3 this dec, she is around 13 kgs and is about 94 cm tall, she's pretty light for her weight, but her father was tall and slim. all kids are different so if she's not off the growth charts then don't stress.

My daughter is 4 feet tall at 3 and weighs 39.5 she is slim and trim. Your daughter will grow in her own time my daughter gets mistaken for a 5 year old so don't rush this.

my daughter is born on march 17 2008,and is now on oktober 15 2011, 94 inches she's a little girl but so am i, i am 150inches and i was not always pleased with that but this is my body and i learned to accept it like it is, i guess for a girl it's not so tearebell to be tiny for a guy it's a difrend thing. sorry for the spelling but i'm from belgium so english is my second language

My 3 year old is 38 lbs and 3'5". He's a big boy, but he's at a very healthy weight :). His dad is 6'1 and I'm 5'10, so both of our kids will be tall ones :). Oh, and he was born 10/7/08.

My daughter may be the biggest on here... She was born Nov. 15, 2007. At her last appointment she was 55 lbs and 45 inches (3 ft. 9 in). She was 9 lbs 3 oz and 20.5" at birth. She's been off the charts since she was born. Her dad and I are both tall. Doctor said she's proportionate for height and weight.

Hye! My son was born Feb, 08 and he's 44lbs & 4.26 ft. As long as he's healthy, have a good appetite & active, I'm ok with it. And also both me & my husband used to be a big size kid, too :)

my son was born december 2007 and he is way off the scale with hight he is in 5-6 yr old clothes, don't worry as my 2yr old is on the 9th-25th line and dinky. i myself am 6 ft 1 so these things just happen my youngest obviously takes after my mum who is only 5 ft 2
