My son is 22 months and my first born. For the last few weeks he has been taking his pants and diaper off at night. Well now he is doing it during the day too and he peed all over the floor the other day. Is this a sign that he is ready for potty training?

I would say yes. My daughter is the same age, and she did the same thing, and so I bought her a potty. She does sit on it and go, but not everytime. I give her 1 m &m after she actually goes. It's encouraging to them if they get something as a reward that they don't EVER get. she loves to read books while she waits. I suggest buying a potty, and have it sit around for a few days, and add "potty, wet & dry" to your vocab regularly. i say "let's change your diaper because you went potty & it's wet." and now she's totally all about the potty. good luck! we're in the same boat. my little girl is getting big girl underwear from santa!!! ps: 15-20 mins after eating is a good time to sit on the potty.

I would suggest to get a potty and see if he sits on it. My son has had his since September, some things I do that might help:
I sit him on the potty when I'm on the potty.
I sit him on it when he first wakes up in the morning and after a nap.
I got some (pretty cheap) stickers and when he 'produces' he gets to choose a sticker to wear and one to put in a calendar book.
The potty I got can also be an on-the-toilet seat and when we do that I read a book to him.
We were also given a DVD by a friend that was produced by Pull-Ups. If you go to their website you probably could find it, maybe even for free. Pull-Ups.com
