I have a 14 month old son and the passed few days he hasn't really been eating his lunch at daycare. I think he may be bored with what I've given himk lately. i wanted to see other people give for lunches to get some ideas. I can't think of anything other than hot dogs, chicken nuggets, fruit cups and pasta pick ups. Any help would be great. Thanks!

My little guy thinks variety is the spice of life too & won't eat anything 2 days in a row.  Coming up with different lunch ideas is always a challange.  Tyson makes fully cooked grilled chicken strips that are a nice change up from chicken nuggets.  One of his new favs is pasta salad.  It takes a little prep but keeps in the fridge for a few days & you can take it for your lunch as well.  I put some veggies right in the pasta water to cook for the last 3 minutes or so to soften them up a bit (carrots & broccoli) & then mix it with cut up cheese, tomatoes and italian dressing.  My son is also a big fan of chef boyardee.  Have you thought about hard boiled eggs?  Also the matchstick carrots are nice for them to crunch on as well & don't pose the chocking risk that baby carrots do.  Hope that helps a little!

I have used the gerber graduates little box meals. My 14 month old son loves them. He too got tired of the pasta pick ups. I have also sent the lunchables...now they have mini lunchables which are perfect for their little fingers to pick up. I also send cut up grapes or strawberries, kiwi, blueberries all mixed in a bowl...Brennan loves that. I would just rather he have fresh fruit than canned fruit. Although he gets that too. Try sending mac & cheese (chef boyardee has those in a small portion). Just some ideas. Hope that helps.
