First birthday always special occasion to celebrate . So you just need to play around different types of birthday party supplies for kids like balloons, dolls , party favors and lots of things that available in market. You can explore one of online store like http://www.mybirthdaysupplies.com
. They have lots of option to arrange great birthday party.

Awesome 1st birthday party ideas! My daughter turns 1 on the 18th. We are having an Elmo themed party because she LOVES Sesame Street - Elmo in particular - after visiting a Beaches resort over the summer. partymommas.com has adorable custom-designed invitations, etc. I was very happy with their service and products. We are going to have a lunch and about 30 people. Very excited - although I do admit that it is more for us than her at this age. At least we'll have some good pics to show her when she's older.

My Daughter will be 1 on the 17th We are having a Care Bear party I rented 4 costumes for my husband and his 3 friends to wear at the party so the little ones will really love it and the moms will have their very own comical show to watch lol

Then 3 days later my 7 year olds birthday party will be in disney land to meet Hannah Montana so I guess we will have to take Haylee to the pricess castle while we are there for another little princess party lol God my kids are sooo spoiled lol

My daughter turns ONE this month and we are doing a "snowman" birthday... there is lots of snowman Xmas stuff on clearance right now... also, easy cake -- just spread white icing on some cupcakes and make snowman faces on them (raisin eyes, gumdrop or candy corn noses, etc. etc.)

We are doing a football theme for my son since there is bound to be a bunch of it around at the end of the month. We are having his party at a pizza place where each person/family can order their own pizza and beverages and I will provide cake and cupcakes. It is simply stated on the invites that you can preorder your pizza and cake will be provided, so there are no surprises.

This being my 2nd child.. I would certainly save all the hoopla for a 2nd Birthday because they will not care for you efforts at the age of 1. My daughter is turning one on the 16th and we are just having family and a few close friends over to celebrate with us.... I will make some food and a cake but it will be very low key....

My son also turned 1 on the 8th. I thought that since he wouldn't understand what was going on, we wouldn't have a theme. I had all of our family members there and had a dinner and cake. Our family is big so he came away with a lot of loot!! It was a great night filled with lots of love and I can't think of any other way his first birthday party could have been any better!!

My daughter was also one on 8th Jan - I had a few close friends and family down to our local garden centre which has a soft play area and a little cafe. She had great fun but I think she was a bit overwhelmed by all of the other kids and excitement.

Since she's only 1, best to keep it small, unless she's used to large crowds. The first bday party is really more for us and our memories. My daughter turns 1 on the 27th of January. We're doing a small family dinner with just immediate family members. Grandparents, one uncle and her sibling. Cupcakes for all so she can have her very own.

My sons birthday was also the 8th :) we didn't do a lot because all our 'party' plans were put off by the snow...he was having a little tea party at the play group we go too but it was shut :( so it was just me and him all day, plenty of opening pressies pics and playing with toys too!! kind of regretting buying a drum (which had other instruments inside) - i have a banging headache hehe

My son will be one on Jan. 29th. We are celebrating on the 30th and 31st. My parents are traveling to be here for him. The theme is Transformers. All the stuff is at party city, the only thing is- I dont know what games to play? Do one year olds play games really, together? His christening is on the 31st so we are having another party for that. Smaller cake, less guest.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your daughter, my son is also 1 today. We were going to do a superman theme because he was in ICU with RSV for the whole 2nd month of his life and almost died so that is kinda sentimental. YET NOONE HAD SUPERMAN STUFF.

We decided to go with a rubber duck theme because his first word was 'ducka ducka ducka' lol

Thing about what she has done, or her first word, or what she likes on tv (you can tell when they stop what they are doing and stare) and go from there. The 1st birthday hoop la is mainly for you, but make it about her as well.

Good luck and don't forget, it's Elvis' birthday as well. We were going to do that b/c he LOVES music...lol

Hey, my little Madeline turns 1 on the 27th. Since everyone always says that the 1st birthday is more for the parents since your baby won't remember it (but may ask to see pics one day!) - that I am going to do a Tea Party. Just about 10 of us. And although a few of my girlfriends have boys they are under the age of 5 and I think I can put on some cartoons or something and they will be happy and I know they will like the food. The girls will sit at the table and have some tea, scones and little finger sandwiches. Going to do cupcakes for the girls and a little cake for the baby.
